We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage the movement, storage, and delivery of our chocolate and food products across the UAE and GCC. This role ensures on-time, cost-efficient, and quality-controlled logistics operations, while maintaining strong coordination with suppliers, warehouses, and distributors.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in FMCG or food logistics, with a strong understanding of temperature-sensitive product handling.
Key Responsibilities:Shipping & Delivery Coordination:- Plan, coordinate, and monitor domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, and customs agents for smooth transportation and clearance.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, and prepare all required documentation (invoices, delivery notes, customs declarations, etc.).
- Track shipments daily and proactively manage delays, route changes, or delivery issues.
Warehouse & Inventory Support:- Coordinate with the warehouse team to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to the sourcing and sales teams.
- Ensure proper temperature-controlled handling and storage of chocolate and food products.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in maintaining stock accuracy and documentation.
Order & System Management:- Process sales and purchase orders accurately in the ERP or logistics system (Odoo, SAP, Zoho, etc.).
- Verify delivery schedules, quantities, and invoices with internal teams.
- Maintain clear records of deliveries, returns, and transportation costs.
- Generate daily logistics and inventory reports for management.
Supplier & Vendor Coordination:- Work closely with suppliers, transporters, and logistics service providers to ensure cost efficiency.
- Negotiate shipping rates, lead times, and service terms with local and international partners.
- Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements where needed.
Compliance & Quality Control:- Ensure compliance with UAE Municipality and food safety regulations during transport and storage.
- Implement best practices for cold-chain logistics, ensuring product freshness and quality.
- Support audits and inspections related to warehouse and logistics operations.
Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in FMCG or food distribution.
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, customs clearance, and transportation management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, or Zoho) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
- UAE driving license preferred.
